Considered a tough performer that can successfully tackle every challenge in heavy-duty deep mining operations, its high level of robustness comes with a specially designed Stronger chassis frame fitted with heavy duty RA 210 HR Planetary Hub reduction axles, durable 48 T heavy duty Bogie suspension and 1200 X 24 Mining tyres. A reliable power train ensures that possible loss of power or dissipation from the engine to the wheels is mitigated and kept minimum, thereby increasing efficiency. In addition, longer maintenance intervals, coupled with a wide range of low maintenance or maintenance-free components, increases economy even further.


Tata Prima 3138K comes with 4 axle, 31-tonne GVW tipper with a 9 speed Eaton manual transmission and Allison Automatic Transmission. The 8X4 tipper is powered by Cummins ISLe (CRDi) engine which has maximum power of 370hp. The product features include new generation brakes, ABS and hub reduction axle specially designed for mining operations. 19 Cu.mt Hardox HALF PILE Rock body specially designed for overburden in coal, iron, limestone applications.

The tipper has spacious air-conditioned non-sleeper cabin that includes pneumatic suspended driver seat, adjustable steering wheels for enhanced driver comfort. The driving comforts enable the driver to operate for long hours each day thereby offering faster turnaround time.
