UP Govt Approves Rs 11.66 Cr Road Development Projects in Sarojini Nagar

The Uttar Pradesh government has approved 48 road construction and strengthening projects worth Rs 11.66 crore in Sarojini Nagar constituency under the Chief Minister Rapid Road Development Scheme, providing a major boost to local connectivity and infrastructure.

The approved projects will cover nearly 9.98 km of roads across the constituency, aimed at improving road infrastructure and easing movement for residents. Road construction work has already commenced in Narayanpur Bariyar Kheda village as part of the initiative.

Sarojini Nagar MLA Rajeshwar Singh thanked Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for the approval, stating that the swift sanction of the projects reflects the government's commitment to infrastructure development and public welfare.

In addition to road development, the constituency has witnessed significant expansion in public lighting and green energy infrastructure. More than 1,800 solar lights, 750 streetlights, and 155 high-mast lights have been installed across various localities, enhancing illumination, public safety, and civic amenities.

The road projects are expected to improve last-mile connectivity, support local economic activity, and strengthen overall infrastructure in the rapidly developing constituency.
