Second Lintec asphalt mixing plant delivered to Aspetro in Guatemala

Guatemalan civil engineering and road specialist, Aspetro, has received the Lintec CDP 14001M continuous asphalt mixing plant. This is the company's second purchase from Lintec & Linnhoff. The new unit is being employed for the upgrade of a 29 km stretch on the iconic Pan-American Highway.

The 'M' in the CDP 14001M stands for 'mobile', with easy transportation and on-site installation. It can also operate on solid compacted ground without the need for concrete foundations. Other features include a 50-ton hot storage silo, up to 140 tons per hour output capacity and a twin shaft mixer for precise control of asphalt mix quantities. Sustainability is designed into the unit with its baghouse filter ensuring minimised pollution and low emissions.
