Government-controlled PSU RITES, under the Ministry of Railways, has inked an initial pact with Meghalaya Industrial Development Corporation Ltd (MIDC) for multi-modal logistics projects in Meghalaya. RITES will serve as a project management consultant, overseeing services such as constructing container-friendly concrete roads, warehouses, administrative buildings, electrification, and more. The collaboration aims to enhance logistics infrastructure in Meghalaya, promoting economic development and facilitating improved trade and transport connectivity within the region.
