Vijay Sanap, National President, Association of Consulting Civil Engineers (India)
Today, when we are at the crossroads of the past, present, and future, it is imperative to assess how our Industry (civil engineering, architecture, design, technology etc) will shape infra developments in the future. With the theme: “The Future” we intend to create a platform where experts and industry stalwarts from various disciplines will shed light on how the future looks and what it portends for India’s development and economic growth. Vijay Sanap, National President, Association of Consulting Civil Engineers (India)

NATCON (National Convention of Civil Engineers) will be a melting pot of ideas. Stalwarts from the industry will share views on the future of Vertical Urbanism, Architecture, BIM, Metaverse, Sustainability, Data-driven Design, Computational Design, Climate Change, Water Conservation, AI, Spaces, 3D Printing, and Robotic Fabrication.

At NATCON 2022 visionaries like Shri Nitin Gadkariji, Manuel Rojkind (Mexico) and Kai-Uwe Bermann (USA) will share their thoughts on the future of construction technology and infrastructure which apply to the modern infra developments across India.

We are promoting the event through seminars, social media, trade magazines, and internal communications, with the help of our supporting organizations. We have received outstanding response from the fraternity; over 1000 delegates have already registered, and 9 international and 9 national speakers have been slated to speak at the event.

Our nation is still in the development stage in terms of R&D, use of innovative technologies, quality, and best practices in construction. At ACCE(I) we are very positive about the future, and we believe that we will be at par with the global standards soon. NATCON 2022 is a small step towards this goal.

We are confident that NATCON 2022 will have an enormous positive impact on the construction industry with industry leaders and experts sharing their thoughts on innovations and advancements in the field of construction methodologies with the key decision makers from Civil Engineering and Allied Fields. Many global construction methodologies are still not available in India or are at a nascent stage.

With visionaries like Union Minister Shri Nitin Gadkariji, Maharashtra’s Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavisji present, NATCON 2022 will be an important platform for discussions by experts on the various issues of the Construction Industry.
