More than Rs 28,000-cr infra projects proposed under PM GatiShakti
Six infrastructure projects related to railways and road transport worth more than Rs. 28,000 crores have been recommended under PM GatiShakti. The projects would provide multimodal connectivity for socio-economic development and decongest the existing city and rail infrastructure. These projects are of critical importance for future capacity augmentation and will enhance logistics efficiency of the project region. The decision was taken at the 53rd National Planning Group meeting held under the chairpersonship of Special Secretary, Logistics, Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade, Sumita Dawra.
