L&T Construction's Building and Factories Division has secured multiple contracts ranging from Rs 1,000 crore to Rs 2,500 crore both in the domestic and international arenas. The projects include construction of cricket stadium at Varanasi on Design & Build Turnkey basis. Besides, international standard cricket stadium at Kashi by the end of next year, housing 30,000 spectators. The scope of work for the project includes the main ground matching ICC standards, display score board, flood lights, corporate boxes, VIP lounges, office areas, broadcasting, and press conference areas, kitchen and dining areas, and a practice ground on an area stretching across 30.67 acres. In addition, the company has also won an order from the Bangladesh Hi-Tech Park Authority to construct Hi Tech IT Parks at 4 locations. The major scope of work for the project comprises construction of seven storied structural steel buildings with BUA of 1.2 million sqft.
