Gautam Adani Announces ₹2 Lakh cr Investment in Gujarat

Gautam Adani, Chairman of Adani Group, disclosed a substantial investment of ₹2 lakh crore in Gujarat during the inaugural ceremony of the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit (VGGS) in Gandhinagar. Adani stated that the company would additionally invest ₹55,000 crore by 2025.

Having exceeded the previously announced investment target of ₹50,000 crore across various sectors, Adani emphasized the creation of more than 25,000 direct and indirect jobs. Over the next five years, the Adani Group aims to invest over ₹2 lakh crore in Gujarat, generating over 100,000 direct and indirect job opportunities.

Adani highlighted the construction of the world's largest green energy park in Khavda, Kutch, which is set to produce 30 GW of renewable energy over 725 square kilometers. The project encompasses a comprehensive green supply chain, supporting the vision of "Atmanirbhar" Bharat, including solar panels, wind turbines, hydrogen electrolysers, green ammonia, PVC, and expansions in copper and cement production.
