Aditya Birla plans ₹1,000-cr cement unit in West Bengal
The Aditya Birla Group has planned to set up a paint unit in West Bengal at ₹1,000 crore investment which will be commissioned in the next 18-24 months. The group has requested the state government for the allotment of land for a decorative paint unit with backward integration on 80 acres of land at Vidyasagar Park in Kharagpur. The investment promotion board was formed by the state government to help investors in better coordination among various departments and accelerate the pace of industrialization across the state.
