Waaree Clean Energy Wins Green Hydrogen Project in Karnataka

The project will establish an integrated green hydrogen ecosystem covering hydrogen production, storage and utilisation at a single site. WCES will deploy a hybrid system using both PEM and alkaline electrolysers to support flexible and efficient operations through centralised automation.
The scope includes hydrogen compression, storage, a high-pressure refuelling station and an EV charging unit powered by hydrogen fuel cells, combining hydrogen and electric mobility applications.
WCES will execute the project on an end-to-end basis, including engineering, procurement, commissioning and five years of operations and maintenance.
Anuj Sharma, CEO, WCES, said, “This project reflects our commitment to building scalable, future-ready green hydrogen solutions and advancing India’s clean energy transition.”
This initiative aligns with India’s National Green Hydrogen Mission and is expected to serve as a scalable model for future deployments in the country.
