CCI Approves Vishakha Renewables Restructuring and Merger with Vishakha Glass

The Competition Commission of India has approved the proposed restructuring of Vishakha Renewables Private Limited, including its merger with Vishakha Glass Private Limited.

The approved transaction involves consolidation of multiple entities within the group. It includes the amalgamation of Vishakha Renewables 1 Private Limited, Vishakha Metals Private Limited and Vishakha Metals 1 Private Limited with VRPL, followed by the merger of VRPL into VGPL.

As part of the restructuring, the pipes and mouldings divisions of VRPL will be transferred to Progressive Pipes Private Limited on a slump sale basis.

The restructuring is aimed at streamlining operations and strengthening the group’s presence across solar components, glass manufacturing, metals and related infrastructure products.
