Bajel Projects Bags Major Order for 400kV Transmission Line Under Bellary-Davanagere RE Evacuation Scheme

Power-Infrastructure
Bajel Projects Limited has announced that it has bagged a Major order for the Bellary–Davanagere transmission line Package TL01 comprising 2nd 400kV (Quad) D/c transmission line. The order forms part of the larger transmission system strengthening initiative for the integration of additional renewable energy potential of 0.25 GW at Davanagere and 2.75 GW at Bellary — a critical link in evacuating renewable power into the national grid. The project involves construction of a ~70 kms 400kV (Quad) D/c transmission line connecting Bellary Substation to Davanagere Substation.

Commenting on the order win, Rajesh Ganesh, Managing Director & CEO, Bajel Projects Limited, said, "This Major order win is a strong endorsement of Bajel's execution credentials in high-voltage transmission and our continued alignment with India's energy transition priorities. The Bellary–Davanagere corridor is a central transmission system for evacuation of renewable power from critical solar and wind zones in Karnataka. With every such order, Bajel reinforces its commitment to building the transmission infrastructure that will power a greener, more reliable India to the highest standards of safety and quality."
