Commenting on the rental market scenario, he said, "Today, people are inclined to take equipment on rent because of liquidity issues. On the other hand, with the effect of slowdown there's an influx of machinery in the market." Expressing views on how the economy can bounce back from the slowdown, he observed, "Government's policies are very important in the infrastructure segment. There should be a strong emphasis to remove the taxation hindrances."

"Nonetheless," he continued, "we are hopeful of improvements. I am very optimistic that in the coming days, there will be inflow of funds in the market and projects will take off. Rental business in India is bound to grow in the long run, and companies with strong self-belief and inherent capabilities will continue to get stronger."
