RITES secures bid for Rs 65.04-cr railway contract

RITES has emerged as the lowest bidder for a tender, floated by the Railway Board, involving an investment of Rs 65.04 crore. The company is set to undertake testing and inspection of rails as per the stringent IRS T-12 2009 standards for Indian Railways. The order covers the inspection of 60,000,000 MT of rail with estimated inspection costs to be paid in five years.
