RITES emerges lowest bidder for Rs 500-cr offshore contract
RITES Limited has been declared as the lowest bidder in two tenders by CFM, Mozambique, for the supply of 150 wagons and 10 ten locomotives involving an investment of Rs. 500 crore. The bid is subjected to the scrutiny and evaluation process of CFM, Mozambique. The contract is a comprehensive array of services in the fields of transport, infrastructure, and related technologies. Recently, the company has signed a memorandum of understanding with TransNamib Holdings Limited, Namibia. The MoU aims to foster the development of railways and related infrastructure, encompassing the supply of rolling stock.
