Hebbal flyover in Bangalore to become multi-modal transit hub
In its on-going traffic decongestion drive, Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) has planned to transform Hebbal flyover into a multi-modal transit hub. The multi-modal integration (MMI) will see the establishment of one suburban rail and three metro stations at the flyover. The construction work is in full swing on one metro and the suburban railway stations, while one station is awaiting the central approval. Various modes of transport such as metro, suburban rail and city buses will be integrated at the junction.
