BMRCL tests open web girder stability with sandbag load
Ensuring structural stability, the Bengaluru Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) has conducted a load test on the Open Web Girder (OWG) above the railway track between Baiyappanahalli and Benniganahalli metro stations. During testing, a six-coach train loaded with sandbags, simulating full passenger capacity, was stationed on the OWG for about three and a half hours. The testing process would continue for seven days.
