Maharashtra targets ₹4,500-cr transport infra projects

Maharashtra government has decided to invest ₹4,500 crore on the new 337 km metro rail and road network which is planned to be developed by 2026. The expansion of Eastern Express Freeway to Ghodbunder and all the major projects will be completed ahead of time. Other projects include the redevelopment of Koliwadas (fishermen colonies) by taking them into confidence and developing 145 koliwadas in the Mumbai metropolitan city. The first phase of the Nagpur Mumbai Samruddhi Marg is nearing completion and will be inaugurated by the PM soon.
