IRB Infra receives LoA for ₹6,555-cr Ganga e-way

IRB Infrastructure Developers, a leading highway infrastructure and toll road developer, has received a Letter of Award from the Uttar Pradesh Expressways Industrial Development Authority (UPEIDA), the nodal agency entrusted to monitor the project development of Group 1 of the prestigious Ganga Expressway Greenfield BOT Project in Uttar Pradesh. Chairman & Managing Director Virendra D. Mhaiskar informed that the company will develop the 129.700 km stretch from Meerut to Badaun under Group 1 of the four groups of the project, with a cost outlay of ₹6,555 crore, under the Design, Bid, Finance, Operate & Transfer (DBFOT) model, with the traffic linked expandable concession period up to 36 years, which includes 3 years for construction. He added, “The Letter of Award for our third project in the State of Uttar Pradesh is testimony of our specialization in managing large sized BOT projects. Our expertise and resources have been instrumental and demonstrative of creating world class safety and quality highways for India over the last two decades. We will leave no stone unturned to complete this project with high standards of safety and quality and commission it as per the set timelines.” IRB Infra has completed and commissioned its 124 kms long Agra Etawah BOT project with a cost outlay of around INR 3,044 crore in UP and is in the final stages of completing and commissioning its 99 km long Hapur Moradabad BOT project with a cost outlay of around of ₹3,345 crore.
