Greater Noida expedites work on 14 acres multimodal hub
The Greater Noida Authority has expedited work on road connectivity of the multimodal transport hub (MMTH) in the city for which the authority has already earmarked 14 acres of land near Bodaki, where they plan to construct an inter-state bus stand, a workshop and a CNG pump for buses. The mega project aims at connecting the hub with Ghaziabad and Bulandshahr through NH-91 and eventually with Noida International Airport and the Eastern Peripheral Expressway. The move would enable people staying in and around Greater Noida to take buses from the inter-state stand to travel to Uttarakhand, Rajasthan and Himachal Pradesh among other places. Local buses will also run from Bodaki and about one lakh passengers will travel daily from the ISBT in 2026. There will be a bus stand, a workshop and a CNG station on 14 acres. Integrated Industrial Township Greater Noida Limited (IITGNL) has intensified work on the MMTH and a multimodal logistics hub (MMLH). MD of IITGNL informed that he also spoke with Navdeep Rinwa, the MD of UP Roadways, and Abhishek Choudhary of National Industrial Corridor Development Corporation Limited (NICDC), to draw up a blueprint for the project. The road connectivity of the transport hub will be from the 105-meter road of Greater Noida. IITGNL is being developed near Bodaki under the ambitious Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC) project.
