DP World inks MoU for ₹2,000-cr infra projects in TN

DP World has planned to build infrastructure projects involving ₹2,000 crore investment in Tamil Nadu. It includes the setting up of a new container terminal, cold storage, cold chain and seafood processing zone comprising a free trade zone with an integrated rail siding, a minor port on the Eastern Coast of Tamil Nadu and inland container depots in Erode, Karur and Tirupur. The company has signed a memorandum of understanding with the state government seeking facilitation support required for the projects.
