JK Fenner: Providing a One-Stop Solution for Power Transmission Products, Industrial Solutions & Automation Systems
JK Fenner has three verticals: the Industrial Product division (IPD), which focuses on hoses and VDS; the Engineered Product division (EPD), which offers gearboxes, pulleys, couplings, and automation solutions; and the Auto Product division (APD), which supplies belts for cars. The company’s core competency lies in designing, developing, manufacturing, validating, and verifying engine drive systems, oil seals, molded rubber products, and hoses for automotive applications, backed by programmable test rigs that simulate customer’s DVPR requirements. The company also provides customized solutions to OEMs, based on their specific needs, including plant-wise customization. Automation solutions start from 200 TPH and go up to 800 TPH.

Discussing the evolution of power transmission solutions, Shukla explains, “Earlier, belt drives were used; then companies migrated to gear drives, and now to automation, which is enabling the machine to soft start and the downtime is also reduced. Our automation systems are less dependent on labor, making them more attractive to OEMs and owners. Their ability to offer real-time data and updates to customers via mobile apps allows customers to stay informed and make more informed decisions about their operations.”
JK Fenner has a dedicated R&D facility, equipped with state-of-the-art facilities for material development, validation, product design, simulations, and validations. “Our R&D team comprises qualified and experienced professionals. We have invested significantly in our EPD vertical with a focus on gearboxes and automation, which is the future of the industry. We believe that the industry is moving towards Industry 4.0, and our products reflect that trend,” adds Shukla.
