Liebherr unveils several new products
Liebherr's new 8-axle mobile crane - LTM 1650-8.1, is designed to deliver maximum performance. It is the successor to the best-selling large crane of all time – with almost 600 units of the LTM 1500-8.1 have been delivered to date. The successful concept of the two telescopic boom versions is continued – the LTM 1650-8.1 is available with 54 and 80 m telescopic booms.
High load capacities with a long telescopic boom together with excellent global mobility are the main features of the new LTM 1110-5.1 unveiled by Liebherr at Bauma. The new 5-axle crane achieves axle loads of 12 tons with 13.1 tons of ballast, but can also be driven with a gross weight of less than 48 tons with a maximum axle load of 10 tons. With its maximum ballast of 28.7 tons, it remains below an axle load of 15.5 tons. A quick-change system for the ballast slabs ensures maximum flexibility for modifications. The variable support base VarioBase® delivers particularly high load capacities with its widened rear supports. Liebherr calls it VarioBase®Plus.
Liebherr has also updated its existing four-axle crane and presented the new MK 88-4.1. The additional number at the end of the product name reflects the 4 axles and that it is the first version of this crane type. Featuring proven MK technology, this mobile construction crane is even more powerful and flexible than its predecessor. This is especially evident in a luffed jib position.
Liebherr has expanded its L1 series and presented the L1-32. The powerful lightweight crane is particularly characterized by its efficient transport logistics and its flexible ballast concept. As the big brother of the L1-24, the L1-32 has another decisive advantage: because of its maximum four-ton load capacity, it can hoist even larger pre-fabricated elements such as concrete steps. In addition, the new hydraulic fast-erecting crane has a maximum radius of 30 m and still lifts 1,050 kg at the jib head. It has a standard hook height of 21.3 m. With these features, the L1-32 is especially suitable for the construction of larger detached and semi-detached properties as well as smaller apartment blocks.
