Automation is the present and future of how we will ensure that every click online results in a quick, safe, and precise delivery.
Automation isn't merely about replacing humans; it's about revolutionizing the entire infrastructure of global goods movement. By integrating sophisticated robotics and advanced systems, businesses can dramatically enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and seamlessly scale operations to meet the ever-growing demands of consumers. Imagine a world where every package you order online arrives faster than ever before, with pinpoint accuracy and without a hitch. This is the promise of automation in the warehousing and logistics industry. At Accio Robotics, we are working on systems to automate the process of order picking in warehouses. We’re building autonomous robots to enable sustainable, quick fulfillment for warehouses. The process of order picking in a warehouse account for 55% of the total internal warehousing cost, as it is the most time-consuming and labor-intensive process.
Our two core solutions AccioPick Pilot and AccioPick Air help reduce labor costs by 90%.
AccioPick Pilot - Assisted Picking: This is a mobile robot designed to bridge the gap between man and machine, streamlining the picking processes of a warehouse. It offers an adept, reliable, and intelligent hand in selecting and retrieving items from a range of warehouse environments. The system ensures that pickers can achieve maximum picking efficiency throughout their daily shifts.AccioPick Air - Fully Automated Picking: This automated system doesn't require any human intervention and is the first step towards providing "lights-out" automation solutions to envision more sustainable and energy-efficient warehouses.
The robot operates in all three axes (i.e. X, Y, and Z) to improve storage density and picking efficiency. The robots can latch onto the racking structure to pick and retrieve storage bins. The movement of the robot on the Z axis also allows for harnessing the vertical storage available in the warehouse. This enables us to reduce the warehouse footprint by 85% and labor costs by 90%.
Despite the wide range of products, it is fairly impossible to find a solution that matches our robot in terms of Form and Function. Our proprietary "Mother-Child" system used in AccioPick Air significantly differentiates us from competitors by enhancing warehouse throughput with a level of automation that directly translates to higher productivity. This system allows for more efficient and flexible operations within warehouse environments.
Our flagship AccioPick Air solution utilizes mobile robots capable of latching onto storage racks to place or retrieve bins efficiently. This innovative approach allows for rapid storage and retrieval operations while fully leveraging the vertical space within the warehouse, with storage systems extending up to 40 feet in height.
Moreover, we have integrated the speed and efficiency of a Mother-Child storage and retrieval system with the adaptability and flexibility of mobile robots. This combination not only optimizes the use of vertical space but also ensures flexible operations adaptable to varying warehouse demands. Our robots operate cohesively as a fleet, coordinated by our sophisticated Fleet Management Software. This system maintains optimal pick efficiencies and offers real-time, actionable insights into process performance. It also provides a comprehensive overview of the entire operation, ensuring that every component functions seamlessly together to maximize productivity and accuracy.
Unlike competitors who may focus on generic solutions, Accio Robotics tailors its technologies to meet specific customer needs. This approach ensures that each deployment is optimized for the client's unique operational goals and challenges, resulting in better integration and performance.
The design, layout, and processes in the Picking station can have a major impact on overall picking productivity.
Machine throughputs offered by vendors do not often translate to the picking productivity of the warehouse. The design, layout, and processes in the picking station can have a major impact on overall picking productivity. The key differentiator between solution options for the customer will be how well the solution integrates with existing systems of the facility to ensure that pick rates are translated into the picking productivity of the overall warehouse. We start by conducting a detailed requirement assessment, which includes on-site evaluations, workflow analysis, and consultations with key stakeholders to gain a comprehensive understanding of the specific challenges and objectives of each client. Our solutions are designed with modularity and adaptability in mind, allowing for flexible configuration and scaling to suit various operational sizes and demands. This ensures seamless integration with the client’s existing systems and workflows, minimizing disruption and maximizing efficiency. Further customization is achieved through continuous feedback-driven development.
Following the initial deployment, we collect and analyze performance data to refine and optimize the automation solution, ensuring it perfectly aligns with the operational realities of the warehouse. Once our solution is deployed, it is designed to seamlessly scale with the growth of the warehouse. As the throughput requirements of the facility increase, there is no need to overhaul or significantly modify the existing system. Instead, we can simply increase the number of robots within our fleet to align with the warehouse's evolving throughput requirements. This flexibility ensures that our system can effortlessly keep pace with growth, providing a cost-effective and efficient solution for adapting to changing operational needs.
