What technology trends in asphalt batching plant, you think, are catching up fast in India?
Use of RAP and warm asphalt technology is fast catching up in India. the concern and awareness about pollution control is also increasing.
Why high-end technologies like RAP, warm-mix, cold-mix, etc are still not being used widely? Don't you think MoRTH and NHAI should look on to these technologies to save fast depleting natural resources and control pollution?
RAP is catching up. MoRTH & NHAI are very receptive on the use of high end technologies like warm-mix, cold –mix. At the same time, they are taking a pragmatic view on the wide spread use of the technologies and we are confident that the use of such high-end technologies will come into force in a phased manner.
What are the advance features of your star product Uniglobe?
This is a future ready plant which has the provision of expandability to incorporate advanced technologies like different RAP processing technologies, warm asphalt, different additives etc. the plant is built with world's best technologies and designs from Ammann with core parts made in Switzerland to deliver best quality asphalt, tight pollution control, higher efficiencies and the most advanced control software.
