A word about the current status of setting up of new manufacturing facility near Bengaluru. One hopes that as per plan the new manufacturing facility will go on stream by this year.
The key success to Ajax Fiori's growth is careful planning and execution of its strategies. Last year during EXCON 2013, we announced our plans to set up new manufacturing plant at Gauribidanur near Bengaluru. As per plan the new plant was inaugurated in early October 2014. This new plant is catering to manufacture a complete range of Ajax-Fiori Batching Plants. The plant has capacity to produce 300 Batching plants/annum at initial stage.

The Parts Logistics Center (PLC) is now fully operational at Peenya, Bangalore and centrally caters to all its customers & its Regional Warehouses at Mumbai, Hyderabad, Trichy, Indore, Raipur & Delhi. The PLC is spread over 10000 sqft. area and has the state-of-the-art Vertical Carousel system. These dynamic storage & retrival systems increase productivity and facilitate the speedy dispatch of Parts to the customers.
In addition to ensure timely after- sales service support near to our customers, we have over 25+ touch points across India to ensure high uptime of the machines.
How much optimistic is your com- pany about the medium and long term growth prospects in India of concrete equipment segment once the CE market recovers by 2015?
Ajax-Fiori is optimistic about the growth prospect of the Concreting equipment segment. India has voted for growth and with the formation of new Govt. at the center the sentiments are quite positive and upbeat. However for the projects to take off, it may take a some more time. We feel the medium to long term growth prospects for CE Industry appear quite bright, due to the rightful emphasize by the new government in stepping up investment on various infrastructure projects.
It is heartening to note that Ajax Fiori has recently rolled out its 5000th machine from its stable. What is application area of this machine. What are the local and imported contents? May this development be the forerunner of many such achievements for the company?

Over two decades back Ajax Fiori pioneered the concept of Self-loading Concrete Mixers and also introduced range other concreting equipment such as Radium Lift Arm Batching Plants, Transit Mixers etc. to suit Indian job conditions. These equipment have contributed in building the infrastructure in areas of irrigation, road, industrial & building constructions to name a few across the country.
From very high import at initial stages of 1990s, Ajax Fiori through its dedicated efforts in R&D and Vendor development have increased the local content substantially to over 65%.Increasing local content & continuous product up-gradation/improvements is routine at Ajax Fiori to ensure that the Ajax Fiori products "Make Productive Sense, Make Economic Sense & Make Investment Sense" for its customers.
