Vectra’s Heman Skid Steer Loader
Vectra Advanced Engineering, a part of the Vectra Group which is engaged in Engineering, Material Handling & Construction Equipment, Automotive, Real Estate and IT sectors, has crossed many a milestone in the earthmoving segment. The latest being the company's Heman 175 Skid Steer Loader (SSL), known as 'One Man Army', is a boon for the earthmoving industry and embodies compactness, versatility, maneuverability and above all dexterity. Each side of the SSL is independent of the other which facilitates mobility in a small radius.
Heman 175 SSL's various other technical attributes include:
Indigenousness: It is designed to be compatible with the Indian conditions unlike other imported machines which are not able to bear the brunt of the Indian terrain and environment. As a matter of fact, Heman 175 has been in-service and exploited by the army for more than 2 years.
Gear Meshed Transmission: The drive system is hydrostatic and has a set of wheels on either side connected to an independent drive motor through a gear train which provides slip free drive to the wheels. The forged gears are hardened for a longer life and are immersed in an oil bath which provides continuous lubrication. Other machines are chain driven as is the case with heavier and larger machines. In such a small machine a chain drive results in frequent faults due to slippages and obstructions.
High Power Turbo Engine: Heman 175 SSL has an 80 HP turbocharged diesel engine which provides quicker and longer working capacity vis-a vis other SSLs of non-turbo or lesser power of 35 to 65 HP.
Dual Cylinder Loader Arm: There is a dual cylinder loader arm which provides assured stability especially on slopes and tilted tracks. On the contrary, other SSLs have a single cylinder loader arm with a V-shaped attachment which is prone to twisting and spilling over.
Low Gross Weight: The Vectra SSL is a mighty machine with a low overall weight of 3 tonnes. Likewise, it can be used over class 3 tracks unlike other SSLs.
Safe: This machine provides operator safety, reliability, easy maintenance, and low cost of ownership.
In a nutshell, the Heman 175 SSL offers a bagful of features ensuring maneuverability, compactness, agility, power & economy, versatility, safety, reliability, easy maintenance, affordability, and easy operability.
