Abhijeet Pai - Puzzolana Group

Mr. Abhijeet Pai is a young entrepreneur actively involved in Hyderabad-based five decades old reputed family business house 'Puzzolana Group', which has diversified its interest in Engineering, Infrastructure, IT, FMCG, and Dairy Industry. Right from his student days, he has proven his leadership qualities and was nominated as 'Head Boy'. His interest to cricket made him represent both school and home state at National level. Later he moved to UK to do B.Tech from University of Hertfordshire. After completing his graduation, he did Diploma in International Business from University of Sydney, Australia.

At the age of 21 years, he actively got involved in family business and made vital contribution in creating new age management by implementing SAP, Improved brand recognition, Strategic marketing, HR Tools, Practices in Cloud Analysis and Dynamic CRM for sales tracking. The network, he created, has been kept to growing since then. He became leader in certain global markets.

Mr. Pai currently is the company's President and also an investor in few startup companies. At Puzzolana, he has been instrumental in the development of new acquisitions in the space of foundries. He has also been able to turn around sick companies into fast growing ones. Moreover, he has invested in several startup companies and organizations beyond the activities of parent company with an intention to develop several entry level entrepreneurs focused on technology products serving the Indian consumer. He refers this as his 'second act'.

In 2011, Abhijeet Pai was the youngest to be elected and inducted in AP State Council of Confederation of Indian Industry. His contribution to the council in policy matters and reforms for the State Government and the Industry was well received and appreciated. He has been a member of 'Young Indians' organization promoted by CII. He was instrumental in realizing the importance of skill requirement and Skill development in India. To his credit 'Puzzolana' is now promoter company of 'Infrastructure Equipment Skill Council' of India, aided by National Skill Development Corporation, an initiative of Ministry of Finance, Govt. of India and Co-Convener of the Telangana Infrastructure Panel by CII.
