Andhra Pradesh CM lays foundation stone for Mulapeta Port in Srikakulam District
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy has laid the foundation stone for the Mulapeta greenfield port in Srikakulam district, with an expected completion time of two years. The Rs 4,362 crore project is set to provide direct and indirect employment to 25,000 individuals and will facilitate the handling of exports and imports from various states, including Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, and Odisha.
In addition to the port, the Chief Minister inaugurated the Budagatlapalem fishing harbor, the life irrigation project from Gotta barrage to Hira Mandalam reservoir, and the continuation of the Mahendra Tanaya river works.
