What is the company showcasing at bauma India?
The 176-year-old Wacker Neuson Group, a leading manufacturer of light and compact construction equipment and agriculture equipment, has been complementing and augmenting the Indian construction Industry with next-gen technologically innovative equipment, which will be on display at bauma India.
We are showcasing our state-of-the-art equipment designed to increase productivity, while reducing noise and exhaust emissions. We are also presenting specialized and advanced solutions for precise soil compaction and concrete consolidation. For example, our large reversible plate compactors on display include compaction sensors for optimal soil compaction, enabling increased efficiency and reduced fuel consumption on job sites.
Also on display is a Vibratory Rammer (an invention of Wacker Neuson) with an Equipment Tracker device. It has features to track machine parameters remotely. Our other products include equipment for optimal ‘fair-faced’ concrete consolidation using high frequency, and lightweight, solid state, electronic inverters that are high on safety.
Our newly launched ‘Made in India’ walk behind Roller is a fully hydrostatic double-drum roller designed and developed indigenously with ‘best in class’ specifications and components. This is the first time Wacker Neuson has embarked on a venture to locally produce a compaction machine.
We are relaunching our 6” inlet / outlet Centrifugal Trash Pump. This diesel driven, trailer or skid mounted dewatering pump has a high discharge capacity of over 4,000 lpm and allows solids of up to 2” to pass through its impeller. The pump is ideal for dewatering construction sites and disaster management applications during natural calamities such as flooding in metro areas.

What recent upgrades has the company made in its products to meet global standards and regulations?
We believe that Indian equipment owners and operators are entitled to the same safety and efficiency norms as their counterparts in Europe and the USA. Hence, we are offering similar equipment, with drastically reduced ‘hand-arm vibration’ in India as those offered in developed countries.
We constantly upgrade our products to conform to European and USA quality standards, specifications, and regulations. We consider this an advantage as it is only a matter of time before the same equipment is introduced in India for its construction sector.
