Please tell us about Burners India and its focus on biomass burners?
Burners India specializes in asphalt batch mix plant burners, and we are increasingly focused on marketing our biomass burners. There is a significant need from asphalt batch mix plant manufacturers to reduce operational costs while improving energy efficiency. To address this, we introduced biomass burners in 2013, which run on wood pellets. These burners are used for heating thermic fluid in asphalt batch mix plants and for bitumen heating. By using biomass burners, our customers have achieved cost savings of at least 25-60% compared to diesel and LDO. More importantly, this switch has substantially reduced the carbon footprint of the plants.
In addition to our burner solutions, we offer a range of products and retrofitment services tailored to meet the specific needs of our clients.

How do biomass burners work?
The biomass burners operate on the principle of internal combustion, combining oil, fuel, and air. Heat generation is controlled through an auto flame controller. As fuel requirements evolve, we have also introduced burners capable of using furnace oil, followed by those that run on LDO.
The right air-to-fuel ratio, supported by optimal burner performance, is critical for the overall efficiency of the asphalt batch mix plant. To ensure peak performance while generating efficient combustion across various fuels like FO, LDO, HSD, biodiesel, LPG, PNG, and biogas, we provide advanced electronically and mechanically regulated burners.
What is unique about your Auto Flame Controller Burners?
Our Auto Flame Controller Burners, sourced from our UK principal, are entirely IoT-based and can be programmed to adapt to as many as 40 variants of fuel configurations. This flexibility is crucial for optimizing combustion efficiency. The burners feature a PLC-based unit that allows data extraction for analysis, enabling fine-tuning of plant operations to ensure optimal combustion and the right air-to-fuel ratios.
What other products does Burners India offer?
Our product range also includes Step Less Modulation Systems incorporating technology from Siemens, Honeywell, Lamtec, and Autoflame. These finely tuned PLCs can sense and regulate O2, CO, CO2, NOx, and SOx levels, automatically adjusting the oxygen levels to achieve the desired heating for aggregates.
Another key offering is our Mono Block series modulating burners, which feature aluminum or steel casings with integrated or separate electrical switch cabinets. They come with adjustable combustion heads for precise matching with different combustion chamber shapes. Our modulating versions include a PID system controller with digital set points and real-time value displays, providing higher levels of optimization and performance for the plants.
