Ammann Apollo Technology organized a global Meet at its newly refurbished manufacturing facility in Gujarat. The Meet was attended by over 1000 attendees including product dealers, contractors, financiers, project consultants from the SAARC countries, Russia, South Africa, Middle East, and Philippines, besides India. Gujarat Deputy Chief Minister, Nitin Patel graced the occasion, which was presided over by Hans-Christian Schneider, CEO, Ammann Group.

Speakers included senior product line specialists from Ammann’s asphalt, paving and compaction line from Switzerland, all of whom exchanged information on the competitive attributes of the products for better quality and high productivity, such as energy efficiency and appropriate heat transfer.

Delivering the keynote address, Schneider said, “The objective of this Meet is to showcase the best of technologies from Ammann’s global platform for road construction equipment across the value chain, beginning from materials to surface preparation and laying. Also, to exhibit Ammann’s superior manufacturing capability, and our newly set up training academy at our manufacturing facility at Mehsana in Ahmedabad. Our high-end products are backed by world class technologies, and our production output has risen close to 70%.”

The event also witnessed the launch of new products: AFT 500 tracked asphalt paver, and Valuetec - batch asphalt mixing plant. The Countermix 120 is highly energy efficient, rap ready, easy to transport, and a continuous plant with counter-flow technology. The AFT 500 tracked asphalt paver has a Moba dashboard for ease of operation, and a spacious operator platform with a wide view for good paving result. The machine enables maximum paving width of 7 meters.

As regards the company’s competitive edge over other brands, Schneider at the sideline of the event said, “We have a complete product line that includes the economic range as well as the premium class of products, so, we are well positioned to compete with both segments of players in the market, especially with our pavers and compactors.
