A Software System for Planning, Load Estimation, Structural Analysis, Design, Optimization, Detailing, Estimation & Costing, Rendering & Walk-through and Documentation for RCC Multistorey Buildings & Structures.
STRUCT CADD SECTOR has announced a revolutionary software solution SCADDS/ Nucleus 3D RC 2007.

SCADDS/Nucleus 3D RC 2007 performs planning, load estimation, analysis, design, optimization, detailing, estimation and costing, rendering and walkthrough and documentation for RCC multistorey buildings and structures.

Struct Cadd Sector specializes in computer-aided analysis, design and detailing (CADD) applications in civil, structural, architectural, engineering, and construction domains. The various CADD software applications are branded under the SCADDS SERIES, which is the trademarked acronym for Structural Computer-aided Analysis, Design & Detailing System.

SCADDS/Nucleus 3D RC 2007 integrates the following new and upgraded packages:
  • SCADDS/3D Analysis Suite! 2007 (International Edition)
  • SCADDS/RC-Design Suite! 2007
  • SCADDS/RC-Drafting Suite! 2007
  • SCADDS/RC-Floor Suite! 2007
  • SCADDS/Building Estimator 2005
The above packages are integrated into a single 3D environment, providing the structural engineer with maximum flexibility, extremely easy 3D modelling with options for fully automatic as well as interactive modes for design, optimization and detailing.

Developed by practicing structural engineers, SCADDS/ Nucleus 3D RC 2007 is major step towards stabilizing the SCADDS User base which has crossed 2000 in January, 2006.

SCADDS products are developed based on the pure philosophy that accuracy and reliability of the solution is more important. Every SCADDS product goes through rigorous structural engineering algorithms before getting dressed up with the best software engineering technologies and components to ensure absolute satisfaction to the user. Though, it is generally assumed by the global developer community that a mathematical model is extremely difficult for implementation for certain problems, SCADDS always comes up with developing closeform solutions for such problems, based on highly complex mathematical formulations. This is one reason why a SCADDS products stands apart from any other product globally available today.

The first to go 100% objectoriented in 1991, SCADDS has come a long way with several achievements to their credit. Their first product SCADDS/Bridge SuperCAD won the ACCE National Award 1995 for the Best Software in Civil Engineering, followed by SCADDS/Building Estimator in 2003. Being the first to publish a News Letter for the Indian AEC segment in 1992, SCADDS was also the first to become an authorized developer partner of Autodesk from India, representing the AEC segment.

Having served the industry as structural consultants for over 15 years, their heuristic knowledge is built-into each SCADDS product by way of user-interaction architecture, unique modelling and design features as well as excellent drafting algorithms.

Built on the Windows 2000/XP platform, SCADDS/ Nucleus 3D RC 2007 will include 3D Model enerators for various types of 3D frames, linear static analysis, instantaneously viewing the structure as storeys, sections, plans and elevations, automatic load generation and application of wind and seismic loads as per the latest IS codes and handbooks, design, and optimization of beams, columns, slabs, isolated footings, combined footings, lintels, sunshades, and staircases to user-specified constraints, 3D Array and Mirror features, various model editing and querying features, auto-load transfer to beams from loads acting on slabs, report export options for PDF, RTF, XLS, HTML & TXT formats, section library manager, printing of structure diagrams and drawings without using AutoCAD, support for drawing generation in AutoCAD, drawing export to DXF format, STAAD Pro data import feature for design and optimization, inclusion of diagrams in analysis reports, ultra-fast 3D graphics with support for rendered views and walk-throughs, object snap commands for faster modelling, automatic model verification feature and error isolation for pin-pointed corrections, auto-binding of documentation to include model data, analysis results, design calculations, drawings and diagrams, estimation of quantities from the model, customization of desktop themes, and much more.

Needless to say, SCADDS/Nucleus 3D RC 2007 is going to change the way structural engineers design buildings and structures using a computer. It will be the fastest, intuitive and need-based solution offering excellent value for money.
