Ecolite AAC Blocks
Autoclaved Aerated Concrete Blocks which are marketed under the brand name Ecolite are manufactured by JVS Comatsco Industries Pvt Ltd, located at Nasik–Maharashtra. It is India's first largest capacity single location manufacturing plant.
Ecolite AAC blocks are light weight in nature (Since the finished product has up to 5 times the volume of air compared to the raw materials used).
They have low thermal conductivity and good sound insulation and fire resistant properties, they are earthquake resist and being light weight have easy workability. As Construction time is reduced, labor cost and plaster is saved. Ecolite AAC can easily be tooled, cut, drilled, and shaped with woodworking tools, AAC Is 100% Green Building Material and does not contain Pollutants. No Toxic By-products are produced in the Manufacturing or Construction Process. It is a Long-lasting Material and requires minimal maintenance.
It provides tremendous benefit for it users. One of the main benefits of AAC is safety for the owner. An owner using AAC products creates a sound, functional and safe building. Another benefit of the AAC system is versatility. AAC can provide many architectural features that will enhance and project a unique architectural image for the building and its owner. AAC construction is insect and termite proof. Therefore, the need for expensive insect and pest treatment as well as long term maintenance costs will be greatly reduced. The superior thermal properties associated with all of the AAC products will translate into increased energy savings.
For the developer and the designer, the benefit includes cost savings realized when using AAC products, mainly related to the shorter construction time. The advantages of AAC include low maintenance costs, good sound insulation and excellent thermal insulation. It easily meets various storm and energy codes.
For the designer AAC can be adapted to suit most architectural designs while still providing a simple construction system that can meet all load requirements.
For the contractor too are benefited from its use Buildings can be constructed quickly and safely using AAC building systems. The product itself is lightweight; therefore easily handled.
AAC's workability (e.g., anchoring, routing, and drilling characteristics) is well developed and can easily be performed. Typically, wall panel connections are installed with nails. AAC material also produces less waste. By using the right combinations of AAC products, productivity will be increased. AAC will reduce the amount of time spent on job sites due to its ease of handling.
All these factors relate to cost, time and labor savings for the project. These factors epitomize the constructor's commitment to expediting construction, cost effectiveness and an aesthetically appealing building systemBecause of the consistent and accurate dimensions and finishes, less thickness of plaster is required and the builder can enjoy additional carpet area by using a 150mm block instead of 200mm without compromising on its inherent quality and strength. Thus making the building economical by saving on steel and cement.
JVS Comatsco is promoted by the Patel group of Pune with diversified interests in the building material industry for last three decades.
Their flagship Company is Sahyadri Industries Ltd. which manufacture the popular Swastik brand Fibre Cement Sheets, Cemply Flat sheets, Cemply Deziner sheets and Entasafe Antitheft doors.
Apart from building materials the group is also into power generation and have windmills located at Maharashtra, Gujarat and Rajasthan. The group is also into real estate and construction business.
