Founded in 1995, Onward Chemicals is a fairly young company with a strong presence in the Indian Road and Infrastructure industry. Over the past 16 years, Onward built this high dependability in its operations and has consistently maintained business relationships.
The company started operations as a distributor of Specialty Raw materials for the surface coating industry serving customers across India. It diversified from serving the conventional paints industry and the coatings segment and realigned its business to emerge as the preferred suppliers of high quality products for the road and infrastructure sector.
Onward has now taken another significant step in leveraging its experience and expertise by introducing an innovative product for the construction sector - Fibrex™ brand of Glued steel fibers in India. Glued steel fiber is known the world over for its versatility in application, ease of construction and cost savings.
Onward is putting its efforts in creating awareness of the product by reaching out to consultants, design engineers, construction companies and government organizations. It aims to popularize the product making it available in every part of the country and bringing the consumption levels on par with Europe, USA & Japan. The product applications of Glued Steel Fibers are wide and varied, significant among them being slabs and flooring, shotcrete, precast, and structurals.
