SIAM Cement & BigBloc's JV to launch 'ZMART BUILD' plant in Gujarat

SIAM Cement BigBloc Construction Technologies Pvt Ltd, a joint venture between Gujarat based BigBloc Construction Ltd and Thailand’s Siam Cement Group (SCG), is set to begin operation at its first plant at Kapadvanj, Gujarat within the next 3-4 months. The joint venture company will manufacture AAC Blocks and ALC panels at the facility and will market its products under the brand name ‘ZMART BUILD’.

The total investment in the Kapadvanj project is estimated at Rs. 65 crore. At full capacity, the plant is expected to generate revenues of around Rs. 100-125 crore per annum. The Joint Venture Company acquired 60,000 sqm land for the project, completed banking tie-up for financing the project and ordered machinery & technical services for the plant.
