Shri Atul Kumar Tiwari Inaugurated India's Biggest Skill Competition

Shri Atul Kumar Tiwari, Secretary of the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, inaugurated the IndiaSkills Competition 2024 today. This competition, hailed as the country’s largest skill event, aims to showcase the pinnacle of skilling excellence.

Shri Tiwari emphasized that IndiaSkills 2024 is more than just a competition; it is a celebration of skill, innovation, and determination. He highlighted the event as a testament to the boundless potential of the youth and their role in shaping the nation's future. He expressed confidence in the candidates' capabilities and expressed hope for their success in WorldSkills 2024.

Over the next three days, participants will compete in various skill categories, including Construction and Building Technology, Creative Arts and Fashion, Information and Communication Technology, Manufacturing and Engineering Technology, and Transportation and Logistics. The competition will culminate with a grand closing ceremony on May 19th.
