Sushma realty gets ₹140-cr funding infusion

Punjab-based real estate building major, Sushma Group, has received a funding of Rs 140 crore from IndusInd Bank to support its ongoing commercial projects. According to Prateek Mittal, Executive Director at Sushma Group, IndusInd Bank has allocated Rs 50 crore to 'Sushma Capital', one of the commercial projects, and an additional ₹90 crore for 'Sushma Pristine', the other commercial project. These two projects, which include 1.47 lakh square feet of office space, 60,000 square feet of SOHOs, and 7.69 lakh square feet of retail space, are indicative of the promising future of commercial real estate in Tier 2 cities, as banks and financial institutions continue to finance such ventures.

With this recent funding, Sushma Group is in a strong position to continue offering innovative real estate solutions to its customers. Over the past 14 years, the group has successfully delivered several projects, spanning an area of 5 million square feet. Currently, it has another 10 million square feet under construction across locations such as Zirakpur, Mohali, Greater Mohali, Aerocity, Kharar, New Chandigarh, and one project in Himachal Pradesh.
