LDA approves 785.026-acre townships in Lucknow
The Lucknow Development Authority Board has given its approval to a comprehensive plan for the development of a township scheme on a vast land area of 785.026 acres along Mohan Road in Lucknow. This scheme aims to create a mega residential project on acquired land in the villages of Pyarepur and Kaliakhera, located on the outskirts of the state capital. The primary objective of this initiative is to offer a modern and sustainable living environment to the residents.
The township scheme will consist of 2,485 plots, with each plot ranging from 112.50 to 450 square metres in size. Additionally, there will be dedicated plots for economically weaker sections (EWS) and lower-income groups (LIG). The layout of the Mohan Road Scheme will follow a grid pattern, divided into eight sections. Each section will feature facilities such as solid waste management systems, sector-specific shopping malls, and spaces for vendors.
A notable highlight of the plan is the development of a 42-acre central park, designed to enhance the aesthetic appeal and recreational opportunities within the township. Furthermore, a substantial aquatic body spanning an area of 45,000 square metres will also be created.
