Krisumi Corporation, a joint venture between India's Krishna Group and Japanese conglomerate Sumitomo Corporation, has partnered with M. Tamai Architects & Associates Co., Ltd, a Japanese firm with a history spanning half a century, for its ongoing project, Waterfall Residences in Sector 36A, Gurugram, as well as all future developments. The collaboration aims to maintain global standards of construction quality in Krisumi's projects.
M. Tamai Architects & Associates, which has undertaken numerous projects worldwide, ensures quality of construction through regular onsite inspections and detailed review of all design aspects. The company's commitment to quality in construction has been recognized through awards from Corporate Health and Productivity from the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of the Japanese Government in 2020, 2021, and 2022.
As part of the partnership, M. Tamai will conduct monthly inspections and provide technical assistance and advice on construction design throughout the project, from conception to handover. The collaboration will enhance the contribution of the Sumitomo Technical Team, which is centrally located in Tokyo and involved in all phases of the project.
Krisumi Waterfall Residences, located along the Dwarka Expressway and part of the larger integrated township called Krisumi City, features 433 units (2, 3 LDK and penthouses), including a 36,000 sq. ft. clubhouse. The project exemplifies the confluence of Japanese art and architecture with Indian aesthetics, with a straight-line architecture where no two apartments face each other. The construction mandate of Waterfall Residences has been awarded to Tata Projects, which is also executing the ambitious Central Vista and Jewar Airport.
