Casagrand, a leading real estate developer, has expanded its presence into the commercial real estate sector through its subsidiary, Casagrand Commercial. The company has announced plans to invest ₹8,000 crore in commercial projects and aims to develop 10 million sq ft of commercial and retail spaces by 2027, with an estimated rental potential of ₹900 crore per annum.
Managing Director of Casagrand, Arun MN, has stated that the company's goal is to achieve 10 million sq. ft of leasable area across major metro cities, partnering with landlords and other players in the commercial real estate space. The company plans to launch 2 million sq. ft in Chennai and intends to acquire 100 acres of land parcels across the South, including in Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and other metro cities, accounting for 40% of the total investment.
