The Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation (UPMRC) has invited tender for the construction of tunnel and three underground metro stations for the 23.7 km long Line-1 of Kanpur Metro Rail Project.

The scope of work involves the Design and Construction of TBM Tunnel, Cut & Cover Tunnel, underground ramp from Kanpur Central end of Nayaganj station to elevated Ramp after Transport Nagar and three underground metro stations (viz. Kanpur Central, Jhakarkatti and Transport Nagar) including Architectural finishes, E & M, TVS, ECS etc. on Corridor-1 of Kanpur MRTS Project at Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India. This project is expected to cost around ₹1250 Crores.
