RLDA invites bids for commercial development of vacant land near Ajmer Railway Station

Rail Land Development Authority (RLDA) has invited bids for the commercial development of a 1500 sqm vacant land near Community Hall, opposite Swami Complex in Ajmer, Rajasthan. The land parcel, located near Ajmer Railway Station, will be leased out for 60 years with a reserved price of INR 7.35 Crore. The last date for submission of e-bids is 27.04.2023, following a pre-bid meeting held on March 15, 2023.

Ajmer, one of the major commercial hubs of Rajasthan, is considered a heritage city and is home to numerous tourist attractions. The proposed site is strategically located, bounded by Ajmer Bus Stand on the north, Ajmer Railway Station on the south, Topadra Road on the east, and Subhas Udhyan on the west, making it easily accessible and connected to all areas of Ajmer. Local public transport facilities are also conveniently available from the site.

According to Shri Ved Parkash Dudeja, Vice Chairman, RLDA, the commercial development of the land will make it more convenient for tourists and citizens to experience the beauty of Ajmer. The city is accessible through air and rail routes, with the nearest Kishangarh airport located 25 kilometers from the city center and Ajmer Junction situated in the city, built during the colonial period.
