MahaMetro submits DPR for ₹3,357-cr twin corridors in Pune - NBM Media Pvt. Ltd.

Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation has submitted the Detailed Project Report to Pune Municipal Corporation for two metro corridors - Vanaz to Chandni chowk and Ramwadi to Wagholi with a total length of 12.75 km and ₹3,357 crore investment. The other routes include Khadakwasla to Swargate, SNDT to Warje, Swargate to Hadapsar, Hadapsar to Kharadi and High-Capacity Mass Transit Route.

PMC Project Head, Srinivas Bonala informed that the length of extension of Vanaz to Chandni Chowk is 1.12 km and ₹343.07 crore cost. The total length of the Ramwadi to Wagholi corridor is 11.63 km and the total cost is ₹3,014 crore. The Vanaz to Chandni chowk corridor will have an additional metro station and Ramwadi to Wagholi will have 11 additional metro stations.
