
The line will link Mindspace Junction near Raidurg Metro station to the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Shamshabad. HAML is a joint venture between the Telangana State Industrial Infrastructure Corporation, Hyderabad Metro Rail Limited, and the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority, all of which are fully financed by the state government. The last station on the Hyderabad Metro Rail Limited’s Blue line, which ends at Mindspace Junction, will be integrated into the new airport corridor.
Officials are currently exploring design options for the station and the new integrated Raidurg station at Mindspace Junction and the new Airport Metro station from a passenger’s point of view. To create a visual link between the starting point and the destination, retro-reflective boards are being incorporated into road medians, and retro-reflective boards are being placed in the road medians at various locations in the city. The construction of Airport Metro pillars on footpaths has already begun from the junction of T.Ramamedu Road to the T.S.Pasa Junction.
The project is expected to significantly enhance the city's connectivity and improve the airport's accessibility for both residents and visitors alike. The commencement of construction activities is a significant milestone in the project's timeline and will bring Hyderabad one step closer to achieving its goal of providing a seamless transportation experience for all.
