BMRCL readies DPR for Phase-III expansion - NBM Media Pvt. Ltd.

The Bengaluru Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) has readied DPR for phase three expansion and it has been sent to the state Cabinet for final approval. Once cleared, the project will get an additional 44.65-km expansion. The entire project is expected to be completed by 2028.

As per the DPR for the first two corridors of the third phase, the first corridor will connect JP Nagar to Hebbal, with stations at JP Nagar and under the fourth and fifth phases will provide connectivity to JP Nagar, Kadirenahalli, Kamakya bus stand, Hosakerehalli Cross, PES college, Nayandahalli, Nagarbhavi Circle, Vinayaka layout, Ambedkar Institute of Engineering, BDA complex and Sumanahalli Cross, among others.

The second corridor will connect Hosahalli to KHB colony, Vinayaka Nagar, Sumanahalli Cross, Sunkadakatte, Herohalli, Byadrahalli, Forest Gate, and Kadabagere.

The third corridor will connect Hebbal with Sarjapur Road, and the DPR for it is yet to be completed.
