Investors line up ₹20,560-cr industrial units in Noida

Impressed by the investor-friendly policies of the state government, as many as 855 big investors based in India and abroad are setting up their industrial units in Noida involving an investment of ₹20,560 crore. The industrialists have already got plots from the authority to set up their units, which will provide employment avenues to 1,47,703 people. Prominent among the investors are included Samsung, Paytm, TCS, Microsoft, Adani Group, Kent RO and Haldiram's. The construction of Jewar Airport is in full swing and the number of investors setting up their firms in Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) will increase exponentially in the near future.

A large number of domestic and foreign companies are setting up their factories in the New Okhla Industrial Development Authority (Noida), Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (Greater Noida) and Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) in the last four years. According to the Industrial Development Department, all the 855 investors who have acquired industrial plots in Noida have already started construction of their units while some of the units have been completed and have also become operational.
