Motilal Oswal Real Estate (MORE) has generated ₹1,150 crore from high networth individuals to invest in housing and commercial ventures across six cities in the country. The fund raising exercise for its India Realty Excellence Fund IV (IREF IV) started in September 2018, and now the final closure has been achieved, revealed Director & CEO Sharad Mittal, who also said that that company has made an investment commitment of around ₹550 crore in nine projects from this fourth fund. Its average investment size is around ₹75 crore as about 80 per cent of its portfolio is residential projects and 20 per cent commercial. The company would be cautious in making further investments from its fourth fund and would wait and watch to understand the impact of global economic slowdown caused by the coronavirus outbreak, he said.
