Infrastructure Project
The Centre plans to implement road projects worth ₹50,000 crores to decongest roads in the national capital and reduce pollution currently plaguing the city. Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari said in a statement that the ministry is developing the Dwarka Expressway at a cost of ₹10,000 crore and a dedicated Delhi-Dhaula Kuan road corridor is also being constructed. More such projects and spots are being identified to decongest the city. He added that the government has introduced innovative solutions to speed up construction of on-going road projects.
