The first Liebherr R 936 Compact crawler excavator in Belgium has been delivered to Elboka N. V.The first Liebherr R 936 Compact crawler excavator in Belgium has been delivered to Elboka N. V.

SOMTP Belgium delivered the first of the new R 936 Compacts in Benelux to earthmoving company Elboka N.V. With an operating weight of around 36 tonnes, the R 936 Compact crawler excavator is the largest compact crawler excavator produced by Liebherr-France SAS.

Like the other compact models developed by Liebherr, the R 936 Compact is ideal for applications operating in confined spaces, making it perfect for urban operations. With a short rear turning radius of 1.98 m, the R 936 Compact offers maximum safety and flexibility on site.

The R 936 Compact's powerful engine develops 190 kW/258 hp, in line with Stage IV/Tier 4 Final and using Liebherr SCR technology. This technology, developed and produced by Liebherr, operates without external recirculation of exhaust gases (EGR), a diesel oxidation catalyst (DOC) or a diesel particulate filter (DPF). This guarantees superior performance and reliability.

The latter has just been added to the existing machine fleet. In Belgium, Liebherr compact excavators are the number one choice for numerous companies and hirers. Their short rear turning radius and high performance substantially increase versatility and efficiency on all kinds of sites.
